About the hub
Fan-run, by design
Joined by Pieces started the way most good builds do: a few people, a shared table, and the feeling that this could be bigger if it were done properly.
Where this came from
Adult fans of the brick have always found each other — in forum threads, convention halls and comment sections. Joined by Pieces gathers that energy in one place: a hub run by its members, for its members, with no storefront and nothing to sell you.
We are builders of modular streets, spaceships, mechs, microscale skylines and one-perfect-small-thing-a- month. What we share is the itch: the connection that almost works, the part used the wrong way that turns out to be the right way.
Membership is free and stays free. The community is moderated by volunteers, funded by nothing, and answerable only to the people at the table.

The click. You know the one.
How we work
Builds first
The work is the point. Showcases, techniques and critique all exist to make the next build better than the last one.
Critique is a gift
Feedback here is specific, kind and actionable. "Nice" is not critique. Neither is cruelty. We practice the middle.
No gatekeeping
Every technique gets written down and shared. Your first MOC gets the same welcome as your fiftieth.
Fun is load-bearing
We take building seriously, not ourselves. If the hobby stops being fun, we are doing it wrong.
The fine print, in plain sight
Joined by Pieces is an independent, fan-run community. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this site. We are fans — enthusiastic, unaffiliated, and happy to keep it that way.
